Reiki—pronounced ray-key—is a Japanese-origin complementary practice commonly used to support relaxation, stress reduction and a sense of overall balance.

Within Reiki tradition, life-force energy—also described across different traditions as ki, chi or prana—is understood to flow through and around living beings. A Reiki session offers quiet, intentional space in which the practitioner uses light touch or positions their hands above the body, always according to training, consent and client comfort.

People may choose Reiki as supportive time for rest, reflection and connection across physical, mental, emotional or spiritual dimensions. Individual experiences vary, and no particular sensation or outcome is required.
