Reiki With Courtney at The Wellness Point
Welcome! My name is Courtney, and I’m the Reiki Master located at The Wellness Point in Agawam, MA. I work out of an acupuncture office that also offers massage therapy and sauna. I welcome clients of all ages and backgrounds, and provide reiki sessions in-person or distantly via Zoom; I have worked with children, adults, elders, and animals for a wide variety of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.
I practice Usui Shiki Ryoho reiki, which is the practice of Hawayo Takata. I have a short reiki lineage (pos. 6 under Lourdes Gray), and trained at The John Harvey Gray Center for Reiki Healing in New Hampshire. I’ve been practicing reiki since 2023, and am also a certified crystal healer. I host reiki shares for practitioners of all levels and lineages at The Wellness Point office, and more information can be found on my website. Outside The Wellness Point office, I provide reiki treatments to residents at The Suffield House, a local nursing home in my area. I also volunteer free reiki sessions at the Free Alternative Healthcare events put on by Ancient Healing Paths in Granby, CT.
Each of my new clients and I have a deep “in-take” discussion, where we explore their history, goals, and unique needs. Their healing sessions are tailored to these needs, and we set up a reiki plan to continue their healing going forward. During our reiki sessions, I use a variety of Master level techniques as needed, and clients also have the option of adding crystals to their treatment (crystals are not recommended for first time, pregnant clients, or those with severe health issues such as cancer).
On-going education is very important to me, and I am constantly enrolled in reiki and herbalism classes. As I continue my herbalism practice and education, I hope to also provide herbal healing services as well. I am also a member of the Reiki Healing Association.
Prior to becoming a Reiki Master, I was a certified high school English teacher in Hartford, CT. Upon Covid and becoming a stay-at-home-mom, I decided I wanted to change career paths. I’ve found community, happiness, and comfort in the energy healing world. Reiki has had a really positive impact on my mindset and lifestyle, and I’m so excited to share reiki’s gifts with others.
