Christie Goetz – Certified Reiki Practitioner | Trauma-Informed Energy Healing

Hi, I’m Christie Goetz, a certified Traditional Usui Reiki Practitioner and Reiki Master candidate. I offer both in-person sessions in Burke, VA and distance Reiki for clients who prefer to receive healing from the comfort of their own space.

My work centers on Trauma-Informed Reiki, an approach that recognizes how trauma shapes the body and nervous system. I don’t see Reiki as just relaxation—I see it as a way to restore a sense of safety, agency, and possibility in those who may have lost touch with them.

Before stepping fully into this work, I spent 14 years as a teacher in Fairfax County Virginia, a role that instilled patience, adaptability, and the ability to meet people exactly where they are. I am also a military spouse, mother of two, and cancer survivor—life paths that have profoundly shaped my healing practice. These experiences ground me in understanding the challenges of uncertainty, transition, and recovery, while deepening my commitment to supporting others with compassion and clarity.

At my studio, East Coast Apothecary, I welcome those navigating stress, grief, trauma, or life transitions, as well as those simply seeking greater peace, clarity, and energetic renewal. My mission is to help each client feel safe, seen, and deeply restored—whether through Reiki sessions, intuitive guidance, or holistic healing tools that empower them to carry that sense of balance into their daily lives.
