Christie Goetz - Usui Reiki Master | Trauma-Informed, Intuitive Practice

Hi, I’m Christie Goetz, a Usui Reiki Master offering both in-person sessions in Burke, VA and distance Reiki for those who prefer to receive from the comfort of their own space.

My work centers on trauma-informed Reiki, an approach that recognizes how the body and nervous system hold stress, overwhelm, and lived experience. Sessions are calm, client-led, and focused on supporting a sense of safety, grounding, and energetic flow.

During sessions, I often receive intuitive, body-based impressions—sensory or symbolic insights that reflect what is moving through the system. These are offered gently as reflections, not interpretations, allowing each client to take what resonates and leave the rest.

Before stepping fully into this work, I spent 14 years as a teacher in Fairfax County, Virginia. That experience continues to shape how I hold space—with patience, adaptability, and a deep respect for meeting each person exactly where they are. I am also a military spouse, mother of two, and a cancer survivor, experiences that have grounded me in understanding both resilience and uncertainty.

At my studio, East Coast Apothecary, I support those navigating stress, burnout, grief, life transitions, or simply a desire to feel more balanced and connected. Whether in-person or at a distance, sessions are designed to be gentle, supportive, and deeply restorative.
