In addition to being a certified teacher and practitioner of Usui Reiki Ryoho, Nicholas Pearson is an avid researcher, prolific author, and widely respected expert in mineral science and crystal healing. He began his Reiki journey in 2006 and has trained in traditional styles of Japanese Reiki, including Usui Reiki Ryoho, Jikiden Reiki, and Komyo ReikiDo, as well as traditional and non-traditional forms of Western Reiki, like Usui Shiki Ryoho, Usui/Tibetan Reiki, and Kundalini Reiki. Nicholas strives to offer Reiki training, practice sessions, and other events that unite practitioners of all lineages by helping us understand how and where Reiki developed and where it can take us.
Nicholas is also a Certified Medical Reiki Master and an Animal Reiki practitioner, and serves on the Board of Directors of Shelter Animal Reiki Association. He formerly served as board member of the National Reiki in Healthcare Certification Initiative and is a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals, Shibumi International Reiki Association, and Reiki Healing Association. His seminal Reiki book, Foundations of Reiki Ryoho: A Manual of Shoden and Okuden, is available in English and Italian.
Nicholas offers a free online Reiki share each month, which consists of a short discussion of Reiki, remote open reiju, guided meditation, self-treatment practice, and Q&A. He has delivered keynote speeches at numerous conferences, including Celebration of Reiki and the Vermont Reiki Association’s annual meeting, and he previously served as a member of the advisory council for the National Reiki in Healthcare Certification Initiative. Nicholas offers seminars on crystal healing, Reiki, and flower essence therapy online and around the world. He is the author of eight books and lives in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Usui Reiki Ryōhō Shoden (Reiki I)

Usui Reiki Ryōhō is a Japanese spiritual practice and healing technique that makes use of Reiki, meaning “soul energy.” Reiki is a simple and easy-to-learn technique that nourishes body, mind, and soul of practitioner and client alike. It is traditionally offered via laying-on-of-hands and often has profound results. Students receive a series of reiju or initiations (sometimes called attunements) to become Reiki practitioners. Shoden is the traditional name for the first-degree Reiki training. The first degree of Reiki focuses on physical healing of the self and of others, developing energetic sensitivity, and learning the history and theory of Reiki. Usui Reiki Ryōhō Okuden (Reiki II)

Usui Reiki Ryōhō is a Japanese spiritual practice and healing technique that makes use of Reiki, meaning “soul energy.” Reiki is a simple and easy-to-learn technique that nourishes body, mind, and soul of practitioner and client alike.
