Dawn Woodes
Reiki Master Teacher and Reflexologist
Hello, I’m Dawn Woodes, a Reiki Master/Teacher and Reflexologist in Teignmouth, Devon. My mission is to support clients health, wellbeing and energetic connections so as to live in wholeness and wellness.
My holistic approach to health and wellbeing means that every treatment I offer delivers benefits to Body, Mind and Spirit. I love helping people move towards better health and greater wellbeing through my Reflexology and Reiki practice.
I became a Reflexologist in 2010, coming from a teaching background of many years, and set up my business, TeignReflexology in 2011. Within months I had begun my Reiki journey, deepening my connection to source. Over the following few years my connection and commitment to Reiki became deeper and stronger as I progressed to Master Teacher, working at a much higher vibrational level. I now teach Reiki I and Reiki II Workshops and absolutely love passing Reiki on to others.
My practice has evolved over the last ten years to incorporate Facial Reflexology, Zone Face Lift, Spiritual Facial, Facial Cupping and Indian Head Massage, amongst others, to offer both therapeutic and aesthetic benefits to strengthen the mind-body-spirit connection.
I offer Reiki on its own or combined with another of my therapies, from my beautifully calm and relaxing treatment room in Teignmouth. I can also connect 1-2-1 remotely to offer distance healing and treatments through a preferred online connection.
I teach in-person classes, to a max of four students, in Usui Reiki levels I and II, each in a 12 hour study period. Home learning in part maximises workshop and practical time. Reiki training is quite tiring so, for better concentration and retention, I prefer to teach a workshop over two days.
Reiki and Reiki Workshops:
Each Reiki level will enhance your life, spiritual practice, growth, understanding and healing in a very positive way, allowing you to cope better with the modern way of living and help you achieve harmony and inner balance. Anyone can learn this system of energy healing as it is not bound by any belief system.
First Degree, Reiki I or Shoden, is the beginners level and is an experiential journey into, and an awareness of, the world of energy, in order to enhance the balance between one’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. This first level is an introduction to working with energy in a practical way and allows you to work on yourself as well as on family and friends.
First Degree provides you with a solid foundation for future practice, and provides you with important tools that can be used to help balance your energy system, and promote self-healing and spiritual development.
Second Degree, Reiki II or Okuden, is a Practitioner level and about continuing the commitment to the principles of Usui Reiki and utilising the energy both for oneself and for members of the general public, which is purely secondary.
Second Degree provides you with ways of deepening your experience of the energy, furthering your self-healing and spiritual development, and providing you with approaches that will enhance your treatment of others, whether in person or at a distance. Second Degree moves your Reiki onto a new level. Symbols are introduced to enhance your treatments and you can learn how to carry out distant healing. Students receive two further attunements which increase their vibration to a higher level.
