Meditation Script: “The Wolf Moon” – A Reiki Full Moon Celebration
Welcome to this guided meditation for the January full moon, known as the “Wolf Moon.” This meditation is tailored for those experienced in Reiki and will integrate its principles with the potent energies of the full moon. As the first full moon of the year, the Wolf Moon symbolizes new beginnings, heightened intuition, and the strength and communal spirit of the wolf.
Find a quiet and comfortable space where you can sit or lie down. Dim the lights and, if you wish, light a candle to represent the light of the moon. You may also want to have a small bowl of water nearby to symbolize the moon’s influence on the tides of our emotions.
[Grounding and Centering]
Close your eyes and take three deep, grounding breaths. Feel the support of the earth beneath you, steady and strong. As you breathe out, release any tension or stress from your body and mind.
Place your hands in the Gassho position (palms together at heart level) to signify the start of your Reiki practice. Set your intention for this meditation: to connect with the energy of the Wolf Moon and harness its power for healing and insight.

Invoke the Reiki energy, and if you are attuned to specific Reiki symbols, visualize or draw them in your mind. Feel the flow of universal life force energy entering through your crown chakra, filling your entire being with light and warmth.

Place your hands over your heart, channeling Reiki energy to yourself. Visualize this energy mingling with the moon’s light, bringing healing, clarity, and strength to your heart center.
Move your hands to any other areas of your body that need attention, allowing the combined energies of Reiki and the Wolf Moon to bring healing and balance.
